Accommodation and Facilities

The accommodation consists of a large pine-lined room some 7.5 metres long by 4.8 metres wide with a 'cathedral ceiling'. A slumber alcove at one end contains a queen-size bed and is designed for comfort with lots of soft furnishings giving a romantic and cosy ambience. The window is 7 metres long and overlooks the verandah, lawn and dam.

The main area of the cottage is also designed for comfort with a dining area, a peacock chair for reading and a lounging area with suite, coffee tables, remote colour TV, DVD, video and music centre. Magazines, books, games, telephones and a modem point are provided for guest use.

The kitchen is designed for self-catering and contains everything needed to cook and serve high quality meals with a fridge freezer, electric stove, microwave, lots of bench space and a walk-in pantry. The laundry room with automatic washer, tub and ironing facilities leads off the kitchen.

Kitchen at St Clairs

The verandah runs the full length of the cottage and is a great place to relax in the hammock or to enjoy the afternoon sun. The verandah also has a 'spa room' where guests can enjoy a relaxing evening spa by candlelight; watch the often magnificent sunsets and see the local wallabies and possums as they feed on the lawn.
